Title: Acrylic Painting
Course: Design level 3 Artist: Bailey Darnall Teacher: Tara Johnson Subject Matter: Lines Medium: In this project we used canvas's, paint, and tape. To create our designs we drew something we thought would be creative. Project Goal: In this project we learned how to paint and blend correctly. we also learned how to measure and tape so everything was even. |
PERSONAL REVIEW: I really enjoyed doing this project, painting was really fun for me. I learned how to blend and use opposite colors to make them stand out. I also learned how to peel the tape off of my project so the paint wouldn't peel off. I think I did really well on this project. I think mine turned out really good and it was my favorite one so far. In this project we used complementary colors and I used blue and orange because they're opposites. This project wasn't hard at all I thought it was really fun the only part that was difficult was getting your blend to look like you wanted it to.
PERSUASIVE EVIDENCE AND APPLICATION OF LEARNING: In this projects we used straight lines to create this image. I used complementary colors in this design to really make it pop out. The texture of this design was smooth but a little rough. I used proportions in this project to make sure that all of the lines were evenly spaced apart. I used a consistent pattern of lines going up and down to create this image.
